The ''Hull Executive'' is a British named passenger train operated by Virgin Trains East Coast from to .
The service was introduced in 1978 by British Rail, replacing the previous Hull Pullman service. At first the service was operated by Deltic locomotives. These were replaced by InterCity 125 high-speed trains (HSTs) in the 1980s, by which time the ''Hull Executive'' was Hull's only through train to London.
Today the name is still used for the daily East Coast HST return service, up to London in the morning and returning to Hull in the early evening. The train calls at Brough and Selby as well as certain stations on the East Coast Main Line from Doncaster southwards. In the past it was routed through Goole instead of Selby.
Since First Hull Trains began operations in 2001, the ''Hull Executive'' has no longer had a monopoly on the route. FHT now operates seven London-Hull through trains daily each way.
Virgin Trains East Coast's three other named trains are the ''Northern Lights'', the ''Highland Chieftain'' and the most well-known, the ''Flying Scotsman''.
